TERA - Ride Sharing Platform

TERA is a Miami-based transportation startup for which Indus Valley engineered a full five-app ecosystem, connecting riders, drivers, and bus routes through one unified, real-time platform.

TERA set out to challenge the major players in ride-sharing by offering a smarter, more connected transportation network across Miami. To compete at that level, they needed more than a single app. They needed an entire digital ecosystem capable of handling live tracking, complex routing, and thousands of simultaneous users without missing a beat.

Indus Valley designed and developed three dedicated Flutter applications (for riders, drivers, and bus routes), all managed through a central Angular administrative dashboard. The biggest challenge was keeping location data flowing between moving drivers and waiting riders in real time, without draining phone batteries or overwhelming backend systems. We solved this with efficient geofencing logic and smart location update thresholds, paired with low-overhead push notifications to keep every user in sync.

• Real-Time Geospatial Tracking: Drivers and riders stay connected through live location updates that are fast, accurate, and battery-friendly.

• Unified Admin Control Center: A single Angular dashboard gives the TERA team full visibility and control across all three apps.

• Integrated Payments and Payouts: Stripe was built directly into the platform to manage split payments between platform fees and driver earnings.

All five applications launched successfully on the Apple App Store and Google Play, now facilitating thousands of live-tracked rides across Miami. What began as a single startup's vision became a fully operational, multi-app transportation network built to scale.
