About the Client
This startup wanted to bring the bidding model to everyday local tasks and services, letting people list a job and receive competing offers in real time. To make that work, they needed a partner who could own the entire technical build rather than just one piece of it.
What We Built
Indus Valley architected the platform end-to-end, including the cloud infrastructure, backend API, hybrid mobile applications, and administrative web portals. The core challenge was the bidding engine itself. With multiple users placing bids on the same task at the same time, the system needed to handle that activity without data collisions or conflicting updates. We built the backend with strict transactional database locks to prevent race conditions, paired with a responsive Flutter frontend that updates bid prices accurately in real time.
